David Runyon, has built a diverse and impactful career rooted in hard work, dedication, and a commitment to service. Born and raised in a blue-collar family deeply ingrained in the construction trades, transportation, and automotive factories, David's early life instilled in him the values of resilience and a strong work ethic.

David's journey took a significant turn when he joined the United States Navy, where he carved out an illustrious career. Serving as a Gas Turbine Mechanic in the ships' power plants, he showcased his technical prowess. Additionally, as a member of the Navy's Career Recruiting Force, David's role evolved into identifying and recruiting top-notch engineering talent. His dedication to finding and nurturing skilled individuals played a pivotal role in enhancing the Navy's workforce.

Upon retirement from the Navy, David transitioned seamlessly into civilian life. He brought his skills to Waste Management, where he assumed roles as a Diesel Technician, CDL Driver, and Heavy Equipment Operator Recruiter. His experience in recruiting and talent acquisition expanded further when he joined Tile Bar, a burgeoning company. Here, he spearheaded the development of a robust Talent Acquisition function, concentrating on high-volume staffing for Tile Bar's three distribution centers.

In his most recent role as the United States Director of Talent Acquisition for IKEA, David undertook the responsibility of overseeing a substantial recruiting operation. Managing the hiring process for over 900 positions annually across IKEA's US-based stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices, he played a key role in shaping the workforce of this global retail giant.

Undeterred by challenges, David is the owner and founder of Introduction Hiring, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit. Leveraging his extensive background in recruiting and talent acquisition, Introduction Hiring is positioned to make a significant impact in connecting skilled individuals with meaningful career opportunities.

Shawn Knisely

HR Director and Sales Manager

Shawn Knisely is a highly motivated and adaptable professional with a strong work ethic, rooted in her blue-collar upbringing. She has a proven track record of success across various roles, showcasing a diverse skill set in HR, payroll administration, logistics, and customer service. In her role as an HR Generalist, Shawn led the digital transformation of personnel files, successfully processed company acquisitions, and played a key role in implementing new HR systems.

As a Payroll/HR Administrator, Shawn initiated a paperless program, reducing supply costs by 20%. Her efficiency in processing payroll for over 2000 employees reflects her commitment to sustainability and operational excellence. Shawn’s experience as a Customer Service Manager demonstrates her ability to provide excellent service and solve problems in a dynamic environment.
